The Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute (EBI) and the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) have committed to strengthening collaboration in biodiversity conservation and research.

A delegation from ILRI, led by its Director General’s Representative in Ethiopia, recently visited the EBI to meet with the new leadership, including the Director General (DG) and Deputy Director General (DDG).

During the meeting, both institutions engaged in productive discussions aimed at reinforcing their long-standing partnership. Key areas of collaboration highlighted include capacity building, germplasm exchange, and joint research and development initiatives.

The EBI and ILRI expressed mutual commitment to enhancing their cooperation, leveraging shared expertise to advance biodiversity conservation and sustainable development in Ethiopia.
