  • የደቂቅ አካላት ብዝሃ ሕይወት ጥበቃ እና ዘለቄታዊ አጠቃቀምን የሚያረጋግጡ የምርምር ስራዎችን ማካሄድ፤
  • የአገሪቱን የደቂቅ አካላት ብዝሃሕይወት የሚገኙባቸው ቁልፍ ቦታዎችን በመቃኘት፣ በመዳሰስ እና በማጥናት ሥርዓተ ምህዳርን መሠረት ያደረገ የአጠባበቅ ዘዴን በመከተል በዘቦታ መጠበቅ ወይም የሚጠበቅበትን ሁኔታ ማመቻቸት፡፡
  • በደቂቅ አካላት ብዘሃሕይወት ጥበቃ እና ዘለቄታዊ አጠቃቀም ላይ ለሚሠሩ ባለድርሻ አካላትን አቅም ለመገንባት የስራ መመሪያዎችን እና ማኑዋሎችን አዘጋጅቶ መስጠት፤ ስልጠናዎችን፣ ሌሎች የቴክኒክ ድጋፎችን መስጠት እና አተገባበሩንም መከታተል፤
  • የሀገሪቱን የደቂቅ አካላት ብዝሃ ሕይወት መረጃዎችን የሚጠበቁበት እና ጥቅም ላይ የሚውሉበት ሥርዓት መዘርጋት፤
  • በህብረተሠብ ዘንድ ስለደቂቅ አካላት ብዝሃ ሕይወት ሃብት ጥበቃ፣ ዘለቄታዊ አጠቃቀም እንዲሁም አርክቦት እና ጥቅም ተጋሪነት ተገቢውን ግንዛቤ እንዲሰርፅ በመገናኛ ብዙኃን፣ ከትምህርት ተቋም እና ሌሎች ባለድርሻ አካላት ጋር በመተባበር የአህዝቦት ተግባራትን ማከናወን፤
