cooperation<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>\u1270\u120d\u12d5\u12ae<\/h4>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>Clearing-House Mechanism (CHM)<\/strong>\u00a0of the Convention on Biological Diversity has been established further to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbd.int\/convention\/articles.shtml?a=cbd-18\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Article 18.3<\/a> of the Convention.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-deea926 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"deea926\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Further to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbd.int\/decisions\/?m=cop-10&amp;n=15\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">decision X\/15<\/a>, its mission is to contribute significantly to the implementation of the Convention on Biological Diversity and its\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbd.int\/sp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011-2020<\/a>, through effective information services and other appropriate means in order to promote and facilitate scientific and technical cooperation, knowledge sharing and information exchange, and to establish a fully operational network of Parties and partners.<\/p><p>This mission is articulated around three major goals:<\/p><ol><li>The central clearing-house mechanism provides effective global information services to facilitate the implementation of the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011-2020.<\/li><li>National clearing-house mechanisms provide effective information services to facilitate the implementation of the national biodiversity strategies and action plans.<\/li><li>Partners significantly expand the clearing-house mechanism network and services.<\/li><\/ol><p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbd.int\/decisions\/?m=cop-10&amp;n=15\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">More \u00bb<\/a><\/p><h4><strong>Implementation<\/strong><\/h4><p>The implementation activities of the Clearing-House Mechanism has been guided by the Conference of the Parties.<\/p><p>The Clearing-House Mechanism consists of the following components:<\/p><ul><li>The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbd.int\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CBD website<\/a>, acting as the central node.<\/li><li>The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbd.int\/chm\/network\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">network of national Clearing-House Mechanisms<\/a>.<\/li><li>Various partner institutions.<\/li><\/ul><p>The Clearing-House Mechanism is constantly being improved to better contribute to the implementation of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbd.int\/sp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011-2020<\/a>\u00a0and the achievement of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbd.int\/sp\/targets\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aichi Biodiversity Targets<\/a>.
