The Post-2020 International Biodiversity Framework Promotion Consultation Forum was held on August 24, 2023 at Pyramid Resort in Bishoftu City.

The welcome message was delivered by Dr. Misikir Tessema, coordinator of the GBF-EAS project, and the opening speech was delivered by Dr. Melesse Maryo, the Director General of the Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute.

A document on the post-2020 international biodiversity framework process and the results obtained was presented by Dr. Melesse Maryo, the Director General of the Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute.

Dr. Feleke Woldeyes, Deputy Director General of the Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute, presented a document containing the processes, implementation and results of the National Ecosystem Survey, and the inauguration ceremony of the National Ecosystem Book was held.

The program was completed with a recognition ceremony for those who contributed to the preparation of the book.
