On November 10, 2021, the Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute held a discussion with the management and staff of the Institute on the current national situation.
The Director of the Directorate of Women, Children and Youth presented a document on the current situation in Ethiopia and the role of civil servants.
According to Dr. Melese Mario, Director General of the Institute, all the staff members should take care of it as it is a core institution that will ensure the national mission, animal and plant breeding, and transmitting microbial resources to the next generation.
Dr. Feleke Woldeyes, Deputy Director General of the Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute, said it is important to fulfill our responsibility to protect ourselves and our country from false sources.
At the end of the day, the management and staff of the institute pledged to carry out the mission of the Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute to ensure food security, production and productivity by focusing on genetic resources and sustainable use.
