International Anti-Corruption Day celebrated under the theme “Fighting Corruption in Action!” on December 08, 2022 at the Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute with a panel discussion and campus cleaning.

Mr. Lulseged Abebe, director of ethics and anti-corruption directorate of the Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute, presented a document that included the concept of corruption, the enabling conditions and challenges of the anti-corruption fight in Ethiopia and the role of stakeholders.

Participants also presented various constructive ideas and all confirmed their readiness to do their part to fight corruption.

Mr. Mequanent Eyayu, the head of the director general’s office, concluded the discussion by saying “We should play our role to fight corruption”.
