The Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute has signed a memorandum of understanding with Hagare Herbal to protect biodiversity and provide sustainable benefits.
According to the Director General of Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute, Dr. Melesse Maryo, the main mission of the institute is to protect biological resources and give them sustainable benefits.
He added that in the past the institute had signed a memorandum of understanding to work together on many vital resources and it will be expanded and effective.
The General Manager of Hagare Herbal, Ato Sebsebe Belay, said that he thanked the Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute for being willing to work together to produce herbal products on 10 indigenous plants.
