The National Post-2020 Biodiversity Framework Pre-Implementation Project String Committee meeting was held on November 30, 2023 at Bishoftu Pyramid Hotel and Resort.

Dr. Feleke Woldeyes, Deputy Director General of Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute, delivered a welcome message, and Dr. Melesse Maryo, Director General of Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute, presented a document entitled “Processes and Outcomes of the post-2020 GBF”.

Subsequently, the “GEF Enabling Activity: GBF Early Action Support Project: Modalities of Implementation” document was presented by the coordinator of the project, Dr Misikir Tessema and discussion held.

The discussion forum was chaired by Dr. Melesse Maryo, Director General of the Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute and Dr. Feleke Woldeyes, Deputy Director General of the Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute.
