የእንስሳት ብዝሀ ሕይወት መሪ ሥራ አስፈጻሚ ዓላማ ከተለያዩ የባለድርሻ አካላት ጋር በመሆን ሀገሪቱ ያላትን የእንስሳት ተለያይነት የማጥናት፣ በዘቦታ እና በኢዘቦታ የመጠበቅ እና በዘላቂነት ጥቅም ላይ እንዲውሉ የማድረግ ተግባራትን ማከናወን ነው፡፡

  • የባህሪያት ትንተና እና የዋጋማነት ትመና ጥናት ማከናወን፣
  • ዝርያዎችና እና ንኡስ ዝርዎች ያሉበትን ሁኔታ እንዲሁም ሥርጭታቸውን የማወቅ ጥናት ማከናወን፣
  • የተመናመኑ ዝርዎችን/ንኡስ ዝርያዎችን በመለየትና ቅደም ተከተል በመስጠት በዘቦታ ማንበር፣
  • የተመናመኑ ዝርዎችን/ንኡስ ዝርያዎችን በመለየትና ቅደም ተከተል በመስጠት በኢዘቦታ ማንበር
  • የተሰበሰቡ መረጃዎችን በመተንተን የጥናትና ምርምር ሠነዶችን ማዘጋጀትና ማሰራጨት፣
  • ለማንበርና ዘለቄታዊ አጠቃቀም አቅም ለመገንባት የሚረዱ ማንዋል፣ መመሪያና ካታሎጎችን ማዘጋጀትና ማሰራጨት፣
  • የማንበርና ዘለቄታዊ አጠቃቀም ሥራዎችን ክትትልና ግምገማ ማድረግ፣ ትምህርት መውሰድ እና ምርጥ ተሞክሮዎችን መቀመር፣
  • የባለድርሻ አካላትን ግንዛቤና የመፈጸም አቅም በመገንባት የብዝሀ ሕይወት ጥበቃ አስተዋጽኦዋቸውን ማሳደግ፣
  • በዘርፉ የጾታ ተሳትፎን ማጠናከር እና ማሳደግ

የእንስሳት ብዝሀ ሕይወት ምርምር መሪ ሥራ አስፈጻሚ የሚያከናውናቸውን የዘቦታና ኢዘቦታ ማንበር እና የዘለቄታዊ አጠቃቀም ተግባራት እንዲሁም እነዚህን አበይት ተግባራት ለማከናወን የሚያግዙ የጥናትና ምርምር ሥራዎቹን በላቀ ደረጃ ለመፈጻም በለማዳ፣ በዱርና በውሀ ውስጥ እንስሳት ብዝሀ ሕይወት ዘርፎች ተደርጅቶ ሥራዎቹን በማከናወን ላይ ይገኛል፡፡ እነዚህ አደረጃጀቶች እስከ ማዕከል ደረጃ የወረዱ ሲሆን በአሁኑ ሰዓት የተሟላ ባይሆንም ከ60 በላይ የዘርፉ ተመራማሪዎችን ሊይዝ እንደሚችል ተደርጎ የተቀረጸ ነው፡፡ በአሁኑ ደረጃ በሥራ ላይ ያሉ 42 ተመራማሪዎች የዘርፉን ሥራ በመፈጸም ላይ ይገኛሉ፡፡
