Ethiopia, representing Africa, had a talk with the UN Secretary-General, António Guterres in Montreal, Canada, showing the drivers of biodiversity loss, including climate change’s impact on African Biodiversity. We indicated the urgency of an adequate amount of resource mobilization; quick adoption of the post-2020 global biodiversity Framework, and giving proper attention to Biodiversity Convention, were some major points raised to him. The issues were well considered for action.
