The summer volunteering program was applied in the library, laboratory and information communication technology departments of Rege-Eyat Secondary School, which was built by the office of First Lady Znash Tayachew in Gurage Zone, Abeshge District, Mamede Kebele on September 21, 2023.
The collected materials were delivered in the presence of the officials of the institution, the school, the local community, and the local government bodies.
Regarding the support, Dr. Feleke Woldeyes, Deputy Director General of the Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute, delivered a message. The school gave a certificate of appreciation and recognition for the support provided by the institute.
A brief orientation was given to the school’s laboratory and information communication technology departments regarding the use of the donated materials. The program was concluded by visiting the condition of the seedlings planted and sharing ideas on further communication.
