The Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute signed a memorandum of understanding with various institutions on June 08, 2023 at the institute’s meeting hall.
The Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute signed with Alabaster International, Arba Minch University and Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology have reached an agreement to work together on the productivity and use of “Enset” genetic resources.
Dr. Melesse Maryo, Executive Director of the Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute, pointed out that “Enset” should be improved by using technology. Dr. Behailu Merdekios, the Vice President of Research and Community Engagement of Arba Minch University, and Shannon Fernando, the founder and president of Alabaster International, expressed their pleasure to be able to work together with the Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute.
